Los premios "Razzie" fueron anunciados como antesala a los premios Óscar.

Creados como una burla a la temporada de premios de Hollywood, los premios Razzie premian lo peor del cine y para esta edición, la última entrega de Transformers, fue la película que tuvo siete nominaciones, entre ellas, peor película, pero continuación, peor guión y peor combo en pantalla.
Entre otras películas conocidas también figuran, "Las tortugas ninjas" y "La leyenda de Hércules". Para peor actor, el nombre de Adam Sandler se repite nuevamente y por esta vez encontramos como fuertes candidatas a Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore y la bella, Charlize Theron.

Los ganadores de la 35a entrega anual de los Razzie se darán a conocer el próximo 21 de febrero, en la víspera de los Premios de la Academia. Aunque mucho menos suntuosa que otras galas de premios, galardonadas previas que incluyen a Halle Berry y Sandra Bullock se han presentado en persona a recibir sus premios.
